On Thursday March 28, 2019 , the AMC Raceway 10 Movie Theater at 1025 Corporate Drive, Westbury, was reserved by the Respect  Life Ministry, the Columbiettes and the Father John J. Murray Knights of Columbus at American Martyrs Church,  for a premiere of the movie "Unplanned".  More than 220 people from various parishes, groups and organizations attended the event. 

The movie tells the true story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who, after being involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions, experienced a life changing moment after witnessing an abortion first hand. She has become one of the most active pro-life speakers in our country. 

Approximately $2400 was raised at the event. The money was shared between Bridge to Life (www.thebridgetolife.org) and our Knights of Columbus council Ultrasound machine fund  (https://www.kofc.org/un/en/charities/articles/culture-of-life.html) .  Thank you to all who attended or made a donation.
